Welcome to the international symposium "The Future of Hearing"

On the 8th and 9th of November 2018, the Cluster of Excellence Hearing4all will host its next annual symposium „The Future of Hearing“ in Oldenburg. Highly renowned international speakers from all over the World, as well as the cluster’s very own researchers will present and discuss the state of the art in hearing research. 

In focussed talks and poster sessions scientists from Oldenburg and Hannover will present highlights from different research areas of the Cluster. These will provide not only in-depth insight into current research, but also display the variety of topics in the Cluster.

Directions to the venue

Arrival by car:

Follow the "Weser-Ems-Hallen" signage in the city centre or on the highway. There is good access to highways A 28 and A 29. Parking at the Weser-Ems-Hallen (Messehalle, Kongresshalle, Festsäle) is possible for a fee of 3 €. Address for navigation system: Messestraße, 26123 Oldenburg

Arrival by public transport:

Train station "Hauptbahnhof Oldenburg": take Exit North.
The venue can be reached within a 10 min walk or by bus.
Follow the road "Straßburger Str." on the left, after about 700m turn right at the T junction into "Donnerschweer Str.". After another 150m turn right into the street "Europaplatz", the venue is straight ahead.

Or take the bus from the main station "ZOB Oldenburg":
– no. 323 (towards Wahnbek Nordkreuz), after 2 stops get off at „Weser-Ems-Halle“.
– no. 314 (towards Ostring), after 2 stops get off at „Weser-Ems-Halle“.
